Finding things to do and getting rewarded is very easy in Street Fighter 6. Perhaps one of the things fans, new or old, are looking forward to the most, is seeing the iconic gallery of fighters don their classic outfits in Street Fighter 6.
SF6 in terms of story finally progresses past the Street Fighter III era, with long-time staple heroes of the franchise moving on with their lives, with their current looks being a reflection of that.
However, as good as Cammy, Ken, Ryu, and all the other world warriors look in their updated attires, Capcom has made sure to include their classic looks available to get in Street Fighter 6 for free. Here's how to get them.
How to unlock classic costumes in Street Fighter 6
Every character in the Street Fighter 6 base roster has two different outfits. For returning ones (Chun-Li, Ken, Ryu, E. Honda, Dee Jay, Juri, Cammy, Blanka, Dhalsim, Guile, and Zangief) these are their looks from previous games.
New characters (Jamie, Manon, Lily, Marisa, JP, Kimberly, and Luke, who isn't technically new but we don't talk about his inclusion in Street Fighter V around these parts...) all don more casual costumes seeing in World Tour mode.
There are two ways to unlock them.
Max their bond level in World Tour
The first option is completely free but very grindy. You need to max out the Master bond level in World Tour, Street Fighter 6's story mode.
There are 100 levels so it might take a few hours, but you will also get more rewards including exclusive character art.
To level up bonds you need to use that Master's unique style and give them gifts. Once you max it out, the classic costume and its nine colours will be yours.
Buy them with Fighter Coins
Fighter Coins are premium currency (although some can be earned in-game) to purchase cosmetics for both your World Tour avatar and characters, including outfits and colours.
The alt costumes for all characters cost a total of 50 Fighter Coins. They will include all nine colours as well (the default costumes don't have all alt colours unlocked, oddly enough).
It'll remain to be seen if 50 Fighter Coins per costume is the standard moving forward or if this is a special price, considering you can unlock all of them for free via World Tour mode.
