Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League has reportedly been delayed until 2023. Following a new trailer appearing at The Game Awards 2021, Suicide Squad was previously scheduled for a 2022 launch, but Warner Bros. has allegedly pushed this back.
Reported by Bloomberg's Jason Schreier, he reported in a (paywalled) article that this new delay was confirmed by "people familiar with development." At this time, Warner Bros. hasn't officially confirmed the news, but if true, it'll be a disappointment for DC fans.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Reportedly Delayed Until 2023
It's not entirely without precedent either, if rumours are true. Speaking in a recent Twitter thread, WarnerMedia CEO Jason Kilar outlined 2022 plans, confirming they’d deliver “a full slate of highly anticipated games.” However, only Hogwarts Legacy and Gotham Knights were named, excluding Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is set for release for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, skipping last-generation consoles. If anything changes, we'll be sure to keep you updated.
