Nubia Red Magic 7 Cooling

There are a ton of improvements to the cooling systems of the Red Magic 7, including an air-channel that leads out to a rear vent, not unlike some of the best gaming laptops.

There's also a 20,000 rpm high-speed Turbo Fan for good measure, plus a new composite phase change heat material.

Nubia Red Magic 7 Screen

The Red Magic 7 packs a full HD AMOLED display with an impressive 100% P3 colour gamut.

That's great for more than just gaming, as it should assist with accurately editing photos and viewing the content in the way it's meant to be seen.

You're also getting a massive 165hz refresh rate, plus a 720hz touch sampling rate.

Nubia Red Magic 7 Camera

Most gaming phones aren't exactly built to attract the budding photographers out there, but this one packs an impressive triple camera system at 64MP.

It's also capable of recording in crips 4K, which is pretty epic if you ask us.

Nubia Red Magic Battery

On the battery side, it comes in at 'only' 4500 mAh. That's not massive, but not bad considering that it also comes with a 65W fast charger, which will get you to 100% in 25 minutes.

You can also have the charge by-pass the battery for a longer lifespan, which means you can play plugged in for hours if you'd like.

Win, win.

Nubia Red Magic 7 Chipset

The Nubia Red Magic 7 will have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset and 18GB of RAM.

This would be the newest version of the processor, with the Gen 2 slated to be arriving in May 2022.

We could potentially see the Red Magic 7 Pro feature that chipset, but we'll have to wait and see.

Nubia Red Magic 7 Release Date

The Nubia Red Magic 7 was launched globally on 22 February and released on 10 March 2022.

You can currently purchase the new gaming phone directly through Nubia's website and we're hoping it will soon become available at other retailers as well.
