Geralt - Doug Cockle
Geralt of Rivia is The Witcher's beloved protagonist and monster slayer, as you're probably well aware of. The man himself is voiced by Doug Cockle, who arguably couldn't look any different from his in-game counterpart, has got Geralt's voice and mood pinned down. He has in fact performed so well as Geralt, Doug was nominated for Best Performance at the Game Awards in 2015, and won the Best Gaming Performance category at Golden Joystick Awards that year.
Ciri - Jo Wyatt
Alongside Geralt, Ciri is central to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, with players alternating between playing as the two characters. Jo Wyatt brings Ciri's character to life, so it comes as no surprise that she is very much familiar with voicing characters in video games. Jo has appeared in a plethora of titles that you're bound to be familiar with: Hot Shots Golf, the Dragon Age series, Fable III, Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney, and Horizon Zero Dawn are just a few.
Yennefer - Denise Gough
Yennefer of Vengerberg is arguably Geralt's soulmate and the most maternal figure in Ciri's life, making her hard to hate. Voiced by Denise Gough, the actress spends much of her time participating in successful theatrical productions, having won a Critics Circle Theatre Award before. Denise has also appeared in a handful of other video games, including Divinity: Dragon Commander and Dragon Quest Heroes II.
Triss - Jaimi Barbakoff
Triss Merigold of Maribor is a prolific sorceress in The Witcher franchise, a close friend of Yennefer, and is one of Geralt's love interests. Triss is also a member of King Foltest's Royal Council, alongside fellow sorceress, Keira. Jaimi Barbakoff is behind Triss, and she is no stranger to performing in video games either. The actor has also had lines, most recently in Final Fantasy XIV as Cirina, but previously appeared in the Dragon Quest Heroes series amongst over television shows.
Keira - Katie McGuinness
Keira is a sorceress hailing in from Carreras, and an advisor of King Foltest alongside the aforementioned Triss, before later becoming a member of the Lodge of Sorceresses. The fiery Keira is voiced by Katie McGuinness. Katie is known for her role in the Snowpiercer television series, but is also no stranger to voice acting for video games. She has appeared in Xenoblade Chronicles as Tyrea, before also having a role in Assassin's Creed III.
Vesemir - William Roberts
Vesemir is the oldest witcher at Kaer Morhen, somewhat acting as a father figure to many of the other witchers, including Geralt. The voice behind such a prolific character is William Roberts. William has already been nominated for three separate awards for his voice acting in video games. He has made appearances and voice characters across dozens of games, including but not limited to Sniper Elite, Battlefield: Bad Company 2, Crysis 3, Star Wars: Battlefront, Horizon Zero Dawn, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, and Jurassic World Evolution 2.
Baron (Phillip Strenger) - James Clyde
Better known as the Bloody Baron and the source of all your trouble during the beginning of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is Phillip Strenger. Strenger is voiced by James Clyde, an actor who is arguably new to the world of video games. James has made physical appearances in The Bill, Leonardo, and Anonymous while starring in many Shakespearean theatrical productions. As for video games, James has since had lines in Nioh and Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2.
Emhyr - Charles Dance
Emhyr var Emreis is a villainous emperor in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, described as the 'ruler of half the civilised world and aspiring conquerer of the other half'. Voicing someone expected to rouse terror is daunting, but Charles Dance nailed it. The Witcher 3 was Charles' video game debut, with the actor previously starring in Game of Thrones, Alien 3, Godzilla: King of the Monsters, and many other prolific titles.
Djikstra - Richard Hawley
Sigismund Djikstra is in charge of Redanian Intelligence, otherwise known as the Secret Service in The Witcher series. The imposing Djikstra is voiced by Richard Hawley, who may be better known for his ongoing role in Coronation Street. Richard has also made appearances in The Bill and Holby City. As for games, Richard has also shared some lines in Warhammer 40,000: Space Machine and Zombi.
Eredin Bréacc Glas - Steven Hartley
In The Witcher books, Eredin was a leader of the Elven cavalry known as Dearg Ruadhri and is in a persistent pursuit of Ciri (as are most people, apparently). Eredin is voiced by Yorkshire-born actor, Steven Hartley, who has had multiple leading roles in diverse UK and US shows or productions. These include Shadow and Bone, Happy Valley, and The Bill. Steven also voiced characters in Final Fantasy XIV, Dark Souls III, and GreedFall.
Zoltan - Alexander Morton
Zoltan was a veteran of the second Nilfgaard war, a dwarf, and a friend of Geralt. In fact, it was Zoltan who gave Geralt his sword, a sihil. Scottish actor, Alexander Morton, is behind Zoltan. If we say so ourselves, Alexander brings Zoltan's character to life like no other. Alexander has starred in Luther, Casualty, and Shetland on television, but his video game credits are even more impressive. The actor has had lines in Age of Conan, Killzone 2, Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch, and more.
Dandelion - John Schwab
Love him or hate him, Dandelion is best known for being a bard and close friend of Geralt. In The Witcher 3, our beloved bard owns a tavern in Novigrad. John Schwab, the man behind Dandelion, is an actor and producer from Florida. He is best known for his work in The Queen's Gambit, Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan, and Dark Money, but has had many video game appearances too. These include Alien: Isolation, Star Wars: Battlefront, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, and Cyberpunk 2077,
Lambert - Christian Contreras
Regardless of how you may feel about the tongue-in-cheek nature of the witcher, Lambert, it's easy to say that Christian Contreras did a brilliant job of bringing the character to life in The Witcher 3. Christian Contreras is also no stranger to lending his voice to video games, with him having roles in Star Wars: Battlefront, Killzone: Mercenary, and Company of Heroes 2. Christian also starred as Ramos in the Halo: Nightfall series, and is married to the first female Doctor Who, Jodie Whitaker.
Eskel - Tom Clarke Hill
If we put aside how Netflix did little justice to Eskel's character in the show, Eskel is best known (in the books and games, anyways) for being a calm and rational witcher. He is also a friend of Geralt since their youth. Behind Eskel is Tom Clarke Hill, an American actor. Tom is incredibly familiar with voice acting for video games, with his credits including Killzone, Crysis 3, Sacred 3, Batman: Arkham Knight, Sniper Elite 4, Horizon Zero Dawn, and Overkill's The Walking Dead.
