How to Change Region in Valorant

Unfortunately, when you create your Riot account and begin playing Valorant, your account will be region-locked to the region it was created in. There are ways to get around this, but they can have serious consequences for your account in the long-run. This means running the risk of losing your skins and other items in your collection if you try to bypass the region lock.

The only alternative to this — if you really want to play with friends from another region — is to create another Riot Games account while using a trusted VPN. This is long-winded and not particularly ideal, as your account will start at Level 1 with only the base Agents unlocked again. It'll be a short while before you're allowed to take part in any competitive matches, too. However, if you're an EU player adamant on playing Valorant with your SEA friends, this is the only known way around the region-lock without putting your main account at risk.

That's all there is to know about trying to change your region in Valorant! This will be disappointing to some, but we can only hope that there may be a more efficient way around this in future.
