Sony made a surprise reveal last night during their CES 2022 presentation. Unveiling new details about their upcoming PlayStation VR2 headset, Sony also showcased Horizon Call of the Mountain - a new (and previously rumoured) VR entry exclusive for their headset.
Developed by Guerilla Games, who previously worked on Horizon Zero Dawn and Horizon Forbidden West - they'll be working with Firesprite Games, who were recently acquired by Sony, describing the newest entry as something that will let players "go deeper in the world of Horizon."

Horizon Call of the Mountain Revealed For PSVR2
A teaser trailer for Horizon Call of the Mountain was also revealed, and the official YouTube description reads as:
"Horizon Call of the Mountain, created for PlayStation’s Next-Gen VR hardware, is an upcoming brand-new adventure in the world of Horizon. Embrace a new level of immersion in an unique experience, designed to push hardware technology, innovation, and gameplay."
No release date was given for Call of the Mountain, but we'll update you once there is one. As for the PlayStation VR2 headset, Sony's senior vice president of platform experience Hideaki Nishino described it as "a true next-gen experience," boasting a 4K HDR OLED displays, resolution of 2000x2040 and 120Hz frame rate.
