PlayStation VR's next-generation headset is about to enter mass production, according to new reports. Presently, Sony's yet to confirm any movement about the manufacturing of the new device, but reports indicate these will be produced in China.
According to Brad "SadlyItsBradley" Lynch on Twitter, Chinese manufacturer Goertek will be mass producing PSVR 2 and Meta's Project Cambria headsets soon. Goertek is also confirmed to be working on other projects, such as production of Pico and Apple VR's HMD later this year.

Lynch confirmed this information through a known Chinese supply chain analyst, 黑毛警长008, though it's best to take the news with a grain of salt until an official confirmation is given. We'll have to wait for Sony to showcase their headset if they're making actual units soon.
Right now, Sony's only announced that its working on the next iteration of PlayStation VR, no games, an official headset name or specifications are formally confirmed. Due to the lack of solid updates, we'll have to wait for more information soon, but we'll keep you informed when we know.
