Quest v37 is finally here, and we've got everything you need to know on how to get the update, plus what new features are heading this way.

With all the excitement surrounding the next Quest, the Meta Quest 3, sometimes it's easy to forget about one of the best VR headsets on the market today.

But with new updates that bring increased functionality, the Quest 2 still has a lot more to give.

Here's how you can take your Quest 2 to the next level.

How To Download Quest v37

To download or update to v37, you'll need to connect your Quest 2 to Wi-Fi and have it turned on.

You'll want to make sure your headset is charged too.

Leave the headset turned on, not sleeping, and it should start updating to the latest version.

Alternatively, you can manually check for updates.

To do this, head to the universal menu by pressing the oculus icon on your right controller.

Then hover over the clock icon, which will make Quick Setting appear.

Select this, and then head to the Quick Settings panel, and select settings.

Select System and select the software update from the menu.

What's New With Quest v37?

There are loads of updates with v37, which can be viewed in detail here, but we've highlighted the best of the best below.

Pinch to access Quick Action Menu

V37 introduces a new hand-tracking gesture that allows you to access the quick action menu without using the controller.

All you need to do is hold your palm up and make a pinching gesture with your hand, and you'll have a number of shortcuts at your disposal.

It's a great quality of life feature and a big step in the right direction in our eyes.

See your Apple Magic keyboard

In v28, you could actually see Logitech's K830 keyboard in VR, but now you can do the same with Apple's Magic Keyboard.

This means you can view a 3D representation of the device and your hands in your Home environment.

It's a useful update, especially if you're looking to keep up the comms without having to step out of virtual reality.

You can now seamlessly share links from Android phones to the headset via the Oculus Mobile App.

That means that you can search a site, ping it to your headset, and then have it in front of your eyes in a snap.

This will be great for sharing VR compatible experiences seamlessly, and it looks like iOS support is coming in the near future too.

We'll be back with you soon with all the latest VR news.
