First Look At The New Profession Items Coming In Eternity's End

During the announcement trailer for World of Warcraft Shadowlands patch 9.2: Eternity's End, Blizzard hinted at some updates coming to the Profession system, and now the PTR has been out for a month, players have had the chance to get the first look at the new gathering items, and craftable pieces coming in the final patch of the Shadowlands.

As would be expected from a new final patch zone, there are a handful of new gathering materials that can be found on Zereth Mortis, that are used to craft all the new items also being added.

• Cloth: Silken Protofiber
• Ore: Progenium Ore
• Herb: First Flower
• Skinning: Protogenic Pelt
• Fish: Precursor Placoderm
• Meat: Protoflesh

Additionally, there is an upgrade to the crafter mark system, inducing Crafter's Mark IV, and Crafter's Mark of the First Ones, which can be used to craft higher-level gear up to 233, and 262 (unique to 1).

There is also the expected new Cosmic Healing Potion, Vantus Rune: Sepulcher of the First Ones, and Contract: Enlightened Brokers.

First Look At The New Profession Items Coming In Eternity's End

New craftable items include:

Alchemy

• Sustaining Armor Polish - Increases the duration of flasks, elixirs, and food buffs.
• Infusion Corpse Purification - Chance to acquire additional resources from corpses.

Enchanting

• Cosmic Protoweave - Increases Avoidance and sometimes heals when taking damage.
• Magically Regulated Automa Core - Chance to spawn an Automa Core which explodes for damage and healing.

Engineering

• Pure-air Sail Extensions - Increases movement speed and mount speed while in the Shadowlands.
• Erratic Genesis Matrix - Being struck by an enemy builds electrical sparks. At 5 sparks, the electricity shorts and lashes out.

Jewelcrafting

• Devourer Essence Stone - Slaying enemies increases your highest secondary stat for a brief moment, stacking up to 10 times.
• Ephemera Harmonizing Stone - Chance to harmonize Ephemera, granting Primary stat when acquired.

The Vestige of the Eternal is a new Leatherworking item that adds 3 ranks to a base legendary item up to a max of rank 7. This item and the new Crafter's Mark of the First Ones both require a new reagent, Progenitor Essentia, which is not known how to get yet, although looks to be tradable so shouldn't be too hard to get. This could possibly replace Korthite Crystals from patch 9.1.
