Microsoft announced that Xbox Game Pass has surpassed 25 million subscribers across both Game Pass for Xbox and for PC. The Xbox maker announced this major milestone as a small aside in the much bigger story of Microsoft purchasing Activision Blizzard and all of their game franchises. Xbox CEO Phil Spencer said the goal is bringing ActiBlizz games both new and old to the service in future, so expect to see even beefier Game Pass lineups once the deal reaches completion.

Xbox Game Pass Surpasses 25 Million Subscribers
Activision Blizzard is the second major purchase Xbox has made recently, following its acquisition of ZeniMax, Bethesda's parent company, in 2021. A number of Bethesda games were soon made available in Game Pass and though we don't know whether that will be the case for Activision Blizzard's major IP, including Call of Duty.
What we can reasonably guess is that with 25 million players already confirmed, the number of Game Pass subscribers is likely to increase even further once future Activision Blizzard games come to Game Pass.
