Psyonix has announced that Season 2 has been extended to April 7, and new competitive rewards have been revealed, too.
- Bronze I or higher – Season 2 – Bronze Boost

- Gold I or higher – Season 2 – Gold Boost + lower Boosts
- Platinum I or higher – Season 2 – Platinum Boost + lower Boosts

Rocket League Season 2 is coming very soon, Psyonix has confirmed.
"The next season is a celebration of music that will introduce a new customization option called Player Anthems, new songs and content from Grammy-nominated EDM artist Kaskade through a partnership with Monstercat, a new Rocket Pass, a new Arena, and more," a press release reads.

Enhanced Xbox Series X|S Support
- For players on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, a new “Video Quality” dropdown is now available under Settings > Video. This allows you to play Rocket League with either “Performance” or “Quality” settings as detailed below:
Xbox Series X
- Quality: 4K resolution at 60 FPS with HDR
- Performance: Game runs at 2688x1512 at 120 FPS with HDR
- Game UI displays at 4K
Xbox Series S
- Quality: 1080p Resolution at 60 FPS with HDR
- Performance: Game runs at 1344x756 at 120 FPS with HDR
- Game UI displays at 1080p

Tactical Quick Chat
- A new ‘Tactical Quick Chat Only,” option is now available under Settings > Gameplay > Text Chat
- When enabled, all chat messages will be invisible to you except the following Quick Chats:

- Incoming!
- Need boost!

Esports Shop
- The Esports Shop has been redesigned from the ground up
- The Shop is now separated into regions -- North America and Europe
- Each team is fully visible in their region’s part of the Esports Shop

UI
- Made several aesthetic and color changes
- Changed name of ‘Options’ to ‘Settings’ in the main menu and throughout the game

Rocket League Season 2 Release Date
The new season arrives on all platforms on December 9th 2020.
As confirmed by Rocket League, the new update will go live at 4pm PST on the 8th December and 12am UTC on the 9th December.

Season 2 New Music
According to the press release:
"Psyonix partnered with long-standing partner and electronic music label Monstercat and acclaimed producer Kaskade to create an EP of songs for Rocket League Season 2."
"The first song, “Flip Reset,” with WILL K, is now available in-game, featured in the Season 2 trailer, and on streaming platforms (here). Additional Kaskade music and content will be available throughout the season."
