The first bow you can get in Valheim is pretty pathetic, chances are you'll lose plenty of arrows purely down to the accuracy of the weapon and the limited damage it does. How To Craft Draugr Fang Bow
The Draugr Fang Bow is arguable the best bow a player can get their hands on in Valheim, this is definitely a weapon that you'll want to make as soon as possible. The main ingredients include Ancient Bark, Guck, Deer Hide and Silver, most of which are easy enough to get your hands on but we'll give you a run-through if you don't know.
Ancient Bark will drop when cutting down ancient trees in the Swamp biome, you'll also want to cut open some glowing gucksacks in the same place with an axe for Guck. Deer hide is pretty explanatory and is a material discovered early on in the game, kill deer to receive it. Silver can be mined in the Mountain biome, you'll want to make sure you don't freeze to death when doing this. The recipe is as follows:
- x10 Ancient Bark
- x2 Deer Hide
- x10 Guck
- x20 Silver
How To Upgrade Draugr Fang Bow
As with most weapons in Valheim you can also upgrade the Draugr Fang Bow. Each level will require a certain amount of materials, though the amounts do change, the resources used for the bow don't. The recipe required for each upgrade can be found below as well as the changes in durability, pierce, poison and what level forge you need.
